Happy New Year and welcome to The Surfside Group’s new and DEFINITELY improved web site!Just as the old adage goes, until recently, we were similar to the cobbler whose children had no shoes. For the past 11 years, we’ve worked with Clients to help them improve all aspects of their sales and marketing activities, including their web sites. But ours was nothing to brag about. What we could – and DO brag about is the fact that our old site and this new version were created in Joomla. Joomla is an award-winning open-source Content Management System (CMS). Open source means that the coding is free and available to anyone. A Content Management System simply means that common features (such as newsletter sign ups, blogs, site menus, etc.) are already available to use and just need to be customized to reflect your brand and message. The reason our old site was less than pretty was because we undertook the web development ourselves. It was okay looking but did not have the professional, polished look and functionality that this new site does! The reason this version looks so cool is because we finally found a company that has a true understanding of the power of the Joomla Content Management System and they’ve built hundreds of web sites with it already!
